The Exchange Of Coin

Well, today the money exchanged hands and we have until Wednesday to vacate the premises. I just received the call from the realtor. We both are grinning from ear to ear. I can't wait to go to my bank's site to see our account balance (No, it's not there yet ... I checked).

We also found out today that our moving company will be delivering our stuff in Omaha a day early. Early! How rare is that? Things seem to be progressing nicely.

Tomorrow we're going to celebrate with a breakfast at Mrs. Olsen's and a trip to Chinatown and Olvera Street. The "J" will be riding with us. The Wife is planning to do some early Christmas shopping. It will be a short trip as we have a lot to do before they come to pack our stuff on Sunday.

I can't wait to get to Omaha!

  1. Glad to hear that after all the trials and tribulations that things are going smoothly!

(Er, hope I didn't jinx anything saying that...)

  2. JaG: I wish we were rich but we are better off then we were a week ago. As for being homeless ... it's a little liberating.

GH: Thanks! I hope you don't jinx it either. So far so good though.
