You would think that being in Burgos almost three days would mean a lot of pictures. I did take quite a few but not as many as I could have. I was limited by the amount of time I spent in the hotel room with my foot up.

An intricate Gothic spire of the Burgos Cathedral of the Virgin Mary. |
The albergue door. My pack is the black one on the left with the shell - second in line. |
The colorful Plaza Mayor in Burgos. They actually had places to sit down -
rare in most cities I was in unless you were willing to buy something at a bar or restaurant.
I loved this tree lined street. The Gate of Saint Mary is at the end. |
A tribute to the GrandFather-in-Law |
Santiago Matamoros - Saint James, Killer of Moors.
I always thought Saint James' two incarnations, pilgrim and killer, did not fit together.
El Cid |
My hotel, Mesón del Cid. My room is the dormer window on the top floor.
Note the Cathedral Steeple - the hotel was across the plaza from the Cathedral.

These pictures and quite a few more from Burgos have been added to my
2011 Camino de Santiago Google Photos album.
