I got the hint, grabbed a cookie, my book, and the remainder of my soda and went down in the basement (I was doing laundry too and that's in the basement). I found Homer wearing his Notre Dame Victory Scarf cowering in the tornado room - actually a storage room off the laundry room. He doesn't like the sound of the game or the cheering and clapping of the Wife. It must of worked since Notre Dame scored another touch down while I was downstairs.
I guess I know my place on Saturday afternoons - anywhere except watching the game.
That's kinda funny. :D
ReplyDeletePoor Homer.
YOU HAVE NO POWER OVER MY IRISH PEOPLE NO MORE!
ReplyDeleteWOO HOO! GO IRISH!
BEAT MICHIGAN STATE NEXT WEEK!
Ok, I feel kind of bad about the dog, but if that's what it takes to win ... well, Homer'll have to deal with it.

Not being a sports fan, I'd be right down there in the basement with ya...
ReplyDeleteJaG: It is. Homer doesn't like football ... or the Wife yelling.
ReplyDeleteWife: That's what you think. Woo Hoo is right.
GH: We have plenty of room and a nice big ass chair to sit in.
Never watched American Football. Although I would rather watch it instead of rugby.
ReplyDeleteGany: You're not missing anything ... though the Wife may disagree.
ReplyDeleteWhen hubby worked in Lincoln 911 - whenever the Huskers lost, they blamed Hubby, since he wasn't a fan! LOL, oh well, Hope the basement is big, we'd all probably be down there with ya!
ReplyDeleteDobegil: Having lived in SoCal for so long, we are not used to having a basement. It is very big and very comfortable. Plenty of room for everyone.
