Camino De Santiago - Pictures - Triacastela To Sarria

Another overcast day.  Lots of gorgeous views though but not a pilgrim in sight most of the day.  I was either first in line or the Camino didn't think I needed company this day.

An interesting pilgrim's water fountain along the Camino.
A Camino marker and spring flowers.
A sign of love along the Camino.
A rocky part of the Camino.
These more rustic parts of the Camino were my favorite.  More pilgrim-esque

Statue of King Alfonso IX.  Poor guy looks dejected.
Probably because he only got a hotel named after him.
A pilgrim's mural near the Church of Santa Mariña in Sarria.
These pictures and more have been added to my 2011 Camino de Santiago Google Photos album.

  1. There were a lot of signs of people declaring their love but I missed this one I think. The stone reminds me of the heart-shaped leaf I carry with me. I think the Camino is a place of love. All kinds of love: for yourself, for others, for nature...

  2. GV: I was lucky to see this one. I rarely can pass up a heart shaped rock.
