The Facial Hair Poll Results

Well, with a whopping eight votes, the facial hair poll is officially closed. Like the current democratic candidates, it was a close result. The extremes: Full Beard and Clean Shaven, both received 37% of the vote. The compromise, Goatee, received 25%. The lowly Mustache and Other categories received 0%. This pretty much gives me the option to choose my own Facial Hair style.

Drum roll please ... I have chosen to go Clean Shaven for a while. We'll see how long it lasts. In the past clean shaven has only lasted a month or two at the most.

I was going to post a picture of the pile of facial fur but it looked a little pathetic so no pictures.

P.S. Don't forget to Spring Forward today or you'll be late tomorrow!

  1. JaG: It is tough in the spring and loosing that hour. I take it that Canada does the daylight savings thing too.

  2. I recently went for the close shave myself, a long story involving the need for a quick disguise.

Survey results (survey of one, my wife)?

"Geez, how fast can you grow it back?"

  3. We do and we also followed suit with the two weeks earlier and later thing too.

  4. Phil: Hmmm ... a quick disguise? Why would you need a quick disguise? Nothing nefarious I hope.

The Wife's reaction was "Good, that beard made you grumpy like a grumpy Hemmingway."

JaG: Gee, and I thought the Canadians were an intelligent lot. ;-)

  5. Well, the poll was a success. Ask yourself this, though: would you have ever in your life thought that you'd be polling the world on what to do with your facial hair? Behold: the wonders of the internet! :)

  6. GH: No, I would never had left that decision to ... well, you guys aren't complete strangers but you know what I mean. Anyway, since the poll turned out to be such a tie it really didn't restrict what I wanted to do.
