Camino De Santiago - Pictures - Sarria To Portomarín

I took quite a few pictures on the way to Portomarín including a couple of hórreos, old granaries.

These trees are very old.  How many pilgrims have they seen go by?
The 100 km marker.

Old and new.  The old bridge next to the new bridge as you enter Portomarín.
The church of Saint Nicholas dominates the town of Portomarín.

These pictures and many more have been added to my 2011 Camino de Santiago Google Photos album.

  1. My knees are still shaking just thinking about crossing that bridge. There was something hypnotic about it.

  2. GV: It was one of the taller bridges I've crossed on foot. The bridge out was a little more worrisome.
