I wonder if sleeping on a boat, listening to the calving of the glacier, is like falling to sleep to the sound of thunder?

  1. Oh, I just had to see something like this while sitting in the noisy 'ol server room, didn't I?

  2. GH: When I took this picture it was peaceful and serene. I wonder what it would be like to be on that sailboat.

  3. Alaska has an abundance of seafood, with the primary fisheries in the Bering Sea and the North Pacific, and seafood is one of the few food items that is often cheaper within the state than outside it. Many Alaskans fish the rivers during Salmon season to gather significant quantities of their household diet while fishing for subsistence, sport, or both.

  4. Southern: Thanks for dropping by my little corner of the tubes.

The sad thing is,one of my oddities is that I don't like sea food so I doubt I got as much out of Alaska as most people. I still liked it though.
